Onco-Plastic

The oncoplastic outpatient clinic aims to offer patients a team of specialists for the early diagnosis of skin cancers, immediate removal, and effective reconstruction.

Skin tumors can be located in any part of the body (face, trunk, limbs).

If neglected and/or unrecognized, or if treated inadequately, they grow even if slowly and can create aesthetic-functional problems, especially if located in critical areas (e.g., eyelids, nose, lips, ear).

The experienced surgeon must provide:

Services

  • to the radical removal of the lesion;
  • to the reconstruction;
  • to the restoration of the functionality of the affected structure;
  • to the aesthetics of the injured area.

Final result: the patient must forget the surgery suffered as soon as possible.

Services are performed for:

  • REMOVAL OF SKIN NEOPLASMS + RECONSTRUCTION FOR FUNCTIONAL AND AESTHETIC PURPOSES
  • MOHS SURGERY FOR POORLY DEFINED NEOPLASMS AND/OR RECURRENCES IN HIGH-RISK AREAS (FACE)
  • SENTINEL LYMPH NODE BIOPSY IN CASE OF MELANOMA

The procedures are performed on an outpatient basis. If necessary, short hospitalization (day surgery) or even overnight stay is provided.

Usually local anesthesia is sufficient. If useful, sedation or general anesthesia can be used.
