Emanuele Casciani

Specialized in Diagnostic Imaging since 1999 and in Nuclear Medicine since 2006. PhD in 2015. From 2002 to 2018, Chief Medical Officer Level I at the Emergency Radiology Department of the DEA of the Az. Ospedaliera/Universitaria Policlinico Umberto I and Head of the Trauma Diagnostic Department from 2008 to 2017. Consultant for Cardiovascular and Body Imaging at the Institute of Sports Medicine and Sciences at the CONI, since 2016. Gianfranco Gualdi

Graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the “La Sapienza” University in Rome and specialized with honors in Radiodiagnosis at the University of Siena. In 1985 he obtained the qualification to become a Radiodiagnosis Specialist. In 2002, Director of the Radiology Section of the Emergency Department of a large university polyclinic in Rome; from 2003, Coordinator of Radiology at the same facility. Previously Director of the Emergency Radiology Department. Previously a lecturer at the Schools of Specialization in Cardiology and Dentistry of the University of Aquila; Gastroenterology, Oncology, Clinical Psychology, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Urology, Geriatrics and Emergency Surgery of the “La Sapienza” University; Digestive Surgery and General Surgery of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome. Previously a lecturer in Diagnostic Imaging and Emergency Radiology at Sapienza and in Radiologic Anatomy at the University of Foro Italico. Consultant of the Emergency Radiology and Emergency Department of the Italian Society of Medical Radiology and consultant radiologist for CT, MRI and PET-CT examinations for the Vatican City State since 1980. Author of 18 monographs, 38 monographs in collaboration with other authors, 85 publications in foreign languages and 299 in Italian; more than 700 presentations and lectures at national and international courses, conferences and congresses, and more than 400 communications and posters.

Maria Silvia Giuliani

Born in Rome on April 5, 1963, she graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in October 1986. Since July 1992 he has worked at the Complex Operating Unit (UOC) of Interventional Radiology at the San Camillo Hospital in Rome, where he has developed a long and comprehensive experience in the field of interventional radiology. In 1993 he participated in a research project promoted by the ENEA in collaboration with the San Camillo Hospital, spending three months at the Italian base in Terra Nova, in Antarctica. The project was dedicated to the study of microcirculation in low-temperature conditions. During her professional career, she has dedicated herself to numerous areas of interventional radiology, dealing with both emergency and urgent procedures, particularly in the treatment of trauma, as well as interventional procedures aimed at oncological pathology, with particular experience in the treatment of liver neoplasms through chemioembolization and radioembolization. He has also gained significant experience in the placement of nephrostomies and in performing biliary drainage and abscess collections. Among the interventional procedures to which she has paid particular attention are sclerotherapy for male and female varicocele, embolization of uterine fibroids, and embolization of the prostatic arteries for the treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy. His professional activity has therefore developed in all its dimensions in the field of interventional radiology, with particular emphasis on minimally invasive procedures and the treatment of oncological and non-oncological pathologies through endovascular and percutaneous techniques.

Martina Lucia Pisciotti

La Dott.ssa Martina Lucia Pisciotti si è laureata in Medicina e Chirurgia presso l’Università degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza con votazione 110/110 con lode e si è specializzata in Radiodiagnostica presso la stessa Università con votazione 70/70 con lode. Medico radiologo specializzato nel settore della Neuroradiologia, è stata assunta come Dirigente Medico presso la Neuroradiologia dell’Ospedale Bufalini di Cesena, con particolare attenzione all’emergenza-urgenza neuroradiologica e alla neuro-oncologia.

Stefano Tardioli

Sono il responsabile del reparto di Diagnostica di I livello e di Senologia Diagnostica dove coordino un percorso diagnostico completo, dalla prevenzione all'inquadramento delle diverse patologie. Mi occupo di radiologia tradizionale, esami radiologici con mezzo di contrasto, ecografia, MOC e diagnostica senologica. Per TC e Risonanza Magnetica collaboro costantemente con il reparto del prof. Gualdi per eventuali approfondimenti diagnostici. La senologia rappresenta da sempre una parte centrale della mia attività professionale, con particolare attenzione alla prevenzione e alla diagnosi precoce del tumore della mammella. Seguo la senologia diagnostica a 360°, compresi gli approfondimenti con mammografia con mdc (CEDM), Risonanza Mammaria, e interventistici come agoaspirati, biopsie ecoguidate e biopsie stereotassiche VABB. Mi occupo inoltre di radiologia interventistica ecoguidata, eseguendo aghiaspirati, biopsie, infiltrazioni, aspirazioni e drenaggi in diversi distretti corporei. Una parte importante della mia attività consiste nella valutazione e revisione di casi senologici già studiati presso altre strutture, per fornire un ulteriore inquadramento diagnostico. Il mio obiettivo è offrire al paziente un percorso di prevenzione e diagnosi accurato, personalizzato e basato sulla qualità degli esami. Quando necessario, integro i diversi elementi clinici e diagnostici per individuare il percorso più appropriato. Il nostro compito, mio e del mio staff, non è soltanto eseguire un esame, ma aiutare il paziente a comprendere il proprio problema e a individuare lo specialista o il percorso terapeutico più indicato. Competenza, attenzione alla persona e appropriatezza diagnostica sono i principi che guidano ogni fase del nostro lavoro.
