Cardiology deals with the study, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cardiovascular diseases. Conditions such as arterial hypertension, ischemic heart disease, heart failure, and cardiomyopathies are treated, in addition to congenital heart disease and primary diseases of the heart muscle.
Particular attention is paid to the diagnosis and treatment of complex coronary pathologies and to percutaneous treatment of valvular diseases. The cardiology activity also includes the prevention and detection of conditions that may require further specialist examinations.
The nursing home also has 2 intensive cardiac care beds, dedicated to patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases who require intensive monitoring.
For cardiac emergencies, including interventional ones, the service is available 24 hours a day: discover the H24 Emergency Service.
