In the outpatient Psychiatry service, diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders of various natures are performed, ranging from the most severe ones, such as psychotic disorders and mood disorders such as bipolar disorder and depressive disorders, to anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, stress-related disorders, psychosomatic disorders, sleep disorders, substance addiction and behavioral addiction disorders, and mental disorders associated with neurological and general somatic conditions.
The diagnosis is based on a strictly clinical basis, in possible collaboration with other specialists of the clinic, for consultations and the prescription of somatic assessments and instrumental investigations.
Particular relevance is attributed to the in-depth study of the relationship between physical conditions and mental state, with investigations into the somatic and cognitive implications of depression, anxiety, and stress.
The therapeutic project is individual and includes the prescription and management of pharmacological treatments, with evaluation of efficacy and tolerability, with possible nutraceutical integration and indication of psychotherapy paths.
