The nephrology clinic plays an important role in the initial evaluation of individuals with confirmed or suspected kidney disease. At the end of the visit, patients may be referred back to their primary care physician with a treatment prescription or a request to perform further diagnostic tests.
For patients presenting with complex nephrological problems, outpatient hemodialysis treatment is available.
